How to Configure Deal Monitoring Agent 🔍💼

Creators receive a high volume of DMs every day, and important opportunities - brand deals, creator collabs, paid partnerships - can easily get buried. The Deal Monitoring Agent solves this by automatically scanning your DMs and flagging the opportunities that actually matter to you, based on rules you define.

Before you start: You need to set up the AI ECHO-ME Agent Team before you can configure the Deal Monitoring Agent. If you tap on the agent without completing the setup, you'll be prompted to finish that first. During the ECHO-ME Agent Team setup, you'll have the option to enable Deal Monitoring. Read this article to know the setup process: How to Set Up AI ECHO-ME Agent Team

Step-by-step Guide

There are two ways to find the Deal Monitoring Agent:

  1. From the left panel, tap Home to make sure you are on the Home screen. From here, tap Deal Monitoring.

  2. Or from the left panel, in the ECHO-ME AI Agent Team section, tap Deal Monitoring Agent.

  3. From either of these options, you will be taken to the Deal Monitoring Agent dashboard.
  4. Once you tap Deal Monitoring Agent, you'll be taken through a step-by-step setup. A progress bar at the top shows how far along you are.
  5. Select which accounts ECHO should watch for brand deals and creator collabs. Your connected accounts will appear here - tap to select the ones you want monitored. Tap + Add Another Account to connect a second Instagram or Facebook page. Once you've selected your accounts, tap Continue.

  6. Who Should I Sound Like When Negotiating? - This sets the voice ECHO-ME uses when it replies to brand and creator deals on your behalf. Choose one:
    • Myself - ECHO-ME negotiates as you, in the first person
    • My Manager - ECHO-ME negotiates as your manager, on your behalf
Select your preferred option and tap Continue.

  7. Which Brands Matter to You? - Choose the brand tiers you want ECHO to prioritize. Offers from tiers you don't select get treated as background noise and pushed to a filtered queue:
    • Global Brands - Large international brands like Nike, Sephora, Glossier, Apple, etc.
    • Large US/Regional Brands - Mid-size brands with strong national reach
    • Local & Emerging Brands - Small DTC brands, indie labels, and local shops
Select the tiers that match the kinds of partnerships you're looking for, then tap Continue.

  8. What Kind of Brand Offers Should I Flag? - Tell ECHO what types of brand DMs to flag for you. Select the ones worth your attention - ECHO will summarize anything that matches and skip the rest:
    • Paid Brand Deals (Recommended) - Brands offering money for posts, reels, or stories. You can set a minimum threshold - ECHO will only flag paid deals above that amount
    • Deals Without an Amount - Paid deals where the brand mentions payment but doesn't state a specific figure
    • Free Product Gifting - Brands offering free products in exchange for content, without direct payment
    • Affiliate & Commission Deals - Brands offering a cut of the sales you drive
    • Event & Appearance Invites - Trips, dinners, launches, and panels
      Once done, tap Continue

  9. Should I Watch Creator Collabs Too? - Choose how ECHO handles collaboration requests from other creators - partnerships, podcast invites, and content swaps. This is tracked separately from brand deals. Select one:
    • Yes, but only from creators above my size - Filters out smaller creators to keep your inbox focused on higher-value opportunities
    • Yes, all creator collabs - Flags collaboration opportunities from all creators, including smaller and emerging ones
    • No, just brand deals for now - ECHO will only monitor brand-related opportunities. You can always turn creator collabs on later
Select your preference and tap Continue.

  10. What Kind of Creator Collabs Should I Flag? - If you chose to watch creator collabs, select the types you want flagged:
    • Paid Creator Collabs (Recommended) - Other creators offering money for a collab. You can set a minimum threshold - ECHO will only flag paid collabs above that amount
    • Collab Post / Content Swap - Joint posts, cross-promotions, and content trades
    • Free Product Trade - Product-for-content swaps with other creators
      Once done, tap Continue.

  11. Review & Activate - You'll see a full summary of everything you've configured:

    • The accounts being watched
    • The brand offers ECHO will flag
    • Your selected brand tiers
    • Your creator collab preferences
    • Who ECHO negotiates as

If you want to change anything, tap Edit next to any section. Once everything looks right, tap Activate Deal Monitoring to turn the agent on.

Your Deal Monitoring Dashboard

Once the agent is live, you'll land on your Deal Monitoring dashboard. Here's what you'll see:

On the left side:

  • Deal Monitoring Agent - Live - Shows the agent is active and scanning
  • Negotiate as - Shows who ECHO is currently set to negotiate as. Tap to change it
  • Enable Auto Negotiation - Toggle this on and ECHO will start composing suggested replies for every brand deal or creator collab that comes in. When a deal is detected and you open that conversation, ECHO will have a suggested reply ready for you. Tap Reply to send it as-is, or tap Edit and Post to tweak it before it goes out. ECHO keeps generating suggested replies throughout the conversation - guiding the negotiation step by step, until the deal is closed.
  • Enable Personalization - Toggle this on and ECHO will speak like you when negotiating - matching your tone, language, and communication style. For this to work accurately, your Social Engagement Agent needs to be configured first. If you haven't set it up yet and you try to enable Personalization, ECHO will prompt you to configure it. • Deals Found - Total opportunities flagged in the last 30 days
  • Scanned Emails & DMs - Total DMs and emails scanned in the last 30 days
  • DM Scans Left - How many DM scans you have remaining
  • Email Monitoring (Beta) - Connect your Gmail account to let ECHO scan brand deals in your inbox as well. Tap Connect Gmail to link your account. Once connected, ECHO will monitor incoming emails for brand offers and flag anything that matches your rules - the same way it does for DMs

On the right side:

Your flagged deals are organized into three tabs:

  • New - Deals that have just been flagged and are waiting for your attention
  • Negotiating - Deals you're currently in conversation about
  • Closed - Deals that have been marked as complete or not interested

Tap Edit next to All match your rules to quickly update your monitoring rules from the dashboard. Use the Newest first dropdown to sort your deals by date.

Managing Your Settings

Tap Manage at the top of the dashboard to access your full settings panel. From here you can update any of your configurations at any time:

  • Accounts I'm Watching - Add or remove the accounts ECHO monitors
  • Agent Controls - Pause, reset, or disable the agent. Pausing keeps your settings intact and you can resume anytime. Resetting restores the default rules from your initial setup. Disabling permanently removes the agent but your historical flagged deals are kept
  • Negotiate as - Switch between Myself and My Manager at any time
  • Brand Offer Rules - Update which types of brand DMs ECHO flags. Tap Reset to restore defaults
  • Creator Collab Rules - Update your creator collab preferences. Tap Reset to restore defaults
  • Where I'll Send Alerts - Choose how ECHO notifies you when a new deal is flagged. You can turn on Push Notifications to get alerts directly in the POP.STORE mobile app, enable a Daily Email Digest to receive a summary of all flagged deals at 8 AM every morning, or turn on SMS for High-Value to get a text alert when a high-value deal comes in so you never miss a time-sensitive opportunity. Toggle on whichever works best for how you stay on top of your DMs.
