How to Set Up CommentChat on Pop.Store 💬

Want to automate replies on your Instagram posts and DMs?
CommentChat lets you handle comments, trigger auto-DMs, and drive more sales without lifting a finger. Perfect for creators who want to boost engagement and convert conversations into customers.

How to Configure Your CommentChat 

1. Configure CommentChat

   From your home screen:

   From the top-left corner, tap the hamburger menu

   Select Comment to DM

   Tap + Create Your First CommentChat, then select Connect with Meta

2. Click Connect with Meta

   This opens a popup where you'll link your Facebook and Instagram accounts.

3. Log in to Facebook

   If you're not logged in already, enter your Facebook Business page credentials.

   Once logged in, tap Continue as [Your Name] to proceed

4. Connect Instagram

   Tap Get Started, then log in with your Instagram credentials — and you’re done.

   Make sure you’re using an Instagram Business Account, and have your username and password ready.

5. Choose Page Access

   Select either “Opt in to all current and future Pages” or “Opt in to current Pages only”
   Tap Continue

6. Review Access Permissions

   Scroll through and review what CommentChat will access (comments, messages, insights, etc.)

   Tap Save

7. Finalize Connection

   You’ll see a message confirming that your Facebook and Instagram accounts are connected
   Tap Got it

8. Finish Setup

   Wait a few seconds while your channels are being set up
   Once complete, you’ll see a list of all your connected Pages and accounts
   Tap Start Using CommentChat

Your CommentChat is now configured - now go ahead and create your first CommentChat flow

How to Create a New CommentChat 

1. Create Your First CommentChat Flow

   From Control Panel > CommentChat
   Tap +Create

   

2. Set up your flow

   Name your CommentChat

   Select a platform (Instagram or Facebook)
   After choosing the platform, select the connected account/page
   Decide which posts this CommentChat will apply to:
   All posts
   Specific posts (tap to pick from existing content)
   New posts

   Note: You can create only one CommentChat flow for All Posts or Next Post per platform (Instagram or Facebook). If you try to create more than one for either of these options, you'll get an error and won’t be able to publish the flow. However, you can create as many flows as you want for Specific Posts.
3. Add Trigger Keywords (e.g., "Buy", "Price", "Link")
   Separate each with commas
   Use natural phrases your audience would comment

4. Set Up Auto-Replies + DM Flows

   Choose from response templates or create new ones

   Add responses like: “Here you go!”, “Sent it!”

   Save them as a group for future use

5. Then, customize your DM:

   Choose where to send followers (store product, external link, etc.)

   Upload an image for the button

   Edit CTA button title (e.g., “Buy Now”) if you want to add another

   Then tap Save.

6. Enable Follow-Up DM

   Turn this on if you want to send a second message a few hours later.

   Set the delay in hours
   Upload an image for the button
   Edit the button title if you want to add another, tap Save

7. Publish

   Tap Publish - your CommentChat is now live!
   Check your IG post to see it in action 👀
