Social engagement doesn't stop when you hit "post" - that's when it actually begins. Most creators lose momentum after posting because they can't keep up with comments and DMs.
The Social Engagement Agent inside the AI ECHO-ME Agent Team steps in at that exact moment, helping you stay active in conversations, reply faster, and keep your content alive longer. As replies increase, more people engage, visibility grows, and your engagement starts compounding instead of dropping off.
Before you start: Setting up the AI ECHO-ME Agent Team automatically sets up your Social Engagement Agent as well. If you haven't done that yet, start there first and then come back here.
Step-by-Step Guide
- There are two ways to find the Social Engagement Agent:
-
From the left panel, tap Home to make sure you are on the Home screen. From here, tap Social Engagement.
-
Or from the left panel, in the ECHO-ME AI Agent Team section, tap Social Engagement.
- Either way, you'll land directly on your Social Engagement Agent dashboard.
- Once you're on the dashboard, you'll see everything ECHO-ME is doing on your behalf in real time.
- At the top of the screen, you'll see the current status of your agent - whether it's live in Manual or Auto mode. From here you can:
- Tap the pause button to temporarily pause ECHO-ME
- Tap the stop button to stop it completely
-
Tap the dropdown next to the mode label to switch between Manual and Auto at any time.
- Below the status bar, you'll see your Live Channels - the connected social accounts ECHO is actively monitoring. The two modes work differently:
- Manual - ECHO drafts every reply in your voice. You review, edit, approve, or reject before anything goes live. Nothing posts without your sign-off.
-
Auto - ECHO drafts and posts replies on its own, in your voice, during your active hours. Replies go out with natural cadence and varied timing. You can review sent replies anytime.
We recommend starting with Manual mode. It lets you see how ECHO responds in real situations and make adjustments before letting it run on its own. Once you're comfortable, switch to Auto anytime.
- Scroll down and you'll see the Analyzed Posts section. This is where ECHO shows you all the comments it has analyzed across your posts, along with the replies it has drafted or already sent. For each comment you'll see three options:
- Sounds like me - Tap this if the reply feels right. ECHO will learn from it and keep using this style.
- Not quite - Tap this if the reply does not feel right. A window will appear asking you to suggest an alternative response. Write how you would actually reply and tap That's how I talk and ECHO will learn from your input and improve from there. The more responses you refine, the better ECHO gets at sounding like you. Once you have refined 10 responses, ECHO-ME will unlock and you can choose to go live.
-
Don't Respond - Tap this if you don't want ECHO to reply to that comment at all.
-
Set your availability (Sleep Timer)
If you are setting this up for the first time, scroll down on your dashboard and tap Set Sleep Timer to configure when ECHO should be active. This opens the Manage Social Engagement Agent panel where you can set up all your preferences.
If you have already set up the agent and want to make changes, tap the gear icon at the top right of the dashboard and select Manage ECHO-ME Messaging Assistant to access the same settings panel. Here's what you'll find inside:- Account Controls - You'll see all your connected accounts listed here, each with a toggle. Turning an account off stops ECHO from analyzing comments or posting replies for that account. Keep in mind - this applies across all agents. Switching an account off here stops ECHO-ME everywhere, not just in Social Engagement.
- Respond to Emoji Only or Short Comments - Toggle this on if you want ECHO to also reply to comments that are only emojis or very short. When off, ECHO skips these and focuses on more substantive comments.
- Retrain ECHO-ME - If your content style or voice has evolved, tap Retrain ECHO-ME. ECHO will walk through setup again, pull your latest posts, and rebuild your voice profile from how you actually write now.
- Sleep Timer - Tap Auto-detect to automatically set your timezone, then enter your sleep time and wake-up time. ECHO will pause during this window and resume when you wake up, so replies only go out when you would actually be awake.
- Response Rate Limit - Use the +/- controls or the slider to set how many replies per hour ECHO sends. The recommended setting is Steady Flow. Slide toward High Volume if you want ECHO replying more aggressively during busy periods. The default is 20 replies per hour.
-
Delay Settings - Choose how fast ECHO replies. Select Fast for replies within 1 minute to 1 hour, Medium for 1 to 3 hours, or Slow for 3 to 10 hours. Pick what feels most natural for how you typically engage with your audience.
Once you are happy with your settings, tap Save.
