How to Connect Your Custom Domain 🌐

Want to replace your default pop.store/yourname link with a custom domain? You can connect your own personal domain to give your store a more branded and professional look.

Note: You’ll get access to a few free domain options under the Included URL tab. To unlock more domains or connect your own custom domain, you’ll need to upgrade to our paid Expert plan. 👉 Not upgraded yet? Read this article to learn how to upgrade your pop.store subscription.

Step-by-Step: Connect a Custom Domain

Access the Domain Settings

  1. From the Home screen, tap My Account at the bottom right.
  2. Then, select Change Domain.

  3. From here, you’ll see two tabs:

Included URLs: Choose from our pre-approved domain options.
Custom URL: Enter your own domain and set it up manually.

Choose from Pop.Store Domains

  1. Select the Included URL tab.
  2. Pick a domain from the dropdown.
  3. Tap Update, then select Proceed - and you're done.

Connect Your Personal Domain

  1. Select the Custom URL tab.
  2. Enter your domain name (e.g., yourdomainname.com).
  3. Tap Connect Domain.
Once you do that, you’ll see a DNS setup guide appear on your pop.store screen.

Set Up DNS Records with Your Domain Provider

  1. Now, go to your domain provider (e.g., GoDaddy, Namecheap, Google Domains)
  2. Navigate to Manage DNS or DNS Settings.
  3. Copy the DNS records provided in your pop.store screen.
  4. Paste them into the appropriate fields for your domain.

  5. Save the records.

Note: You’ll need to add a CNAME and 4 A Records exactly as shown in your instructions.
  6. Finalize Verification

Once your DNS records are saved, return to pop.store.
Tap I have updated my DNS records.
    That’s it! 🎉

Note: DNS verification may take up to 24 hours, depending on your provider.
Pro Tip: Once you update your domain, don’t forget to replace the old pop.store link on all your social media bios (like Instagram, TikTok, etc.). This ensures your followers always land on your updated storefront!
