Host Live Shows on pop.store

Live selling is a powerful way to showcase your products, interact with your audience in real time, and boost sales. With Pop.store, you can easily host live shows, engage viewers, and even restrict access to subscribers for exclusive content. Whether you're launching new products, offering limited-time deals, or simply connecting with your followers, live shows make it happen.

Starting a Live Show

To start a live show, follow these steps:

Step 1: Access the Live Show

  1. From your Bio Section, tap Edit to enter Edit Mode.
  2. Select Control Panel from the bottom menu.
  3. From the Home tab tap +Start a Live Show to begin a new session.

Step 2: Configure Your Live Show Settings

Once you start setting up your live show, a pop-up window will appear where you can configure the following:

1. Show Details

  • Enter a title for your live show.
  • This helps your audience know what the session is about.

2. Visibility Options

Choose who can watch your live show:

  • Public: Everyone can join and watch your live session.
  • Practice Mode: Only people with a direct link can join, useful for testing before going live.
  • Subscribers Only: Restrict access to paying subscribers. If you choose this option, you must select a Subscription Access Level.

3. Pick Subscription Access Level (If "Subscribers Only" is selected)

If you choose to limit access to subscribers, you’ll need to:

  • Select the subscription level that can access the live session (e.g., Subscriber, Fan, VIP).
  • This allows you to offer premium content to paying members, increasing subscriber value.

Once these details are filled, select Next.

Step 3: Set Up Your Green Room

After setting up your live show details, you’ll enter the Green Room, where you can finalize your setup before going live.

1. Add Products to Your Live Show

  • Tap on the + button at the bottom of the screen.
  • Select Add Products from your inventory to feature them during your session.

2. Adjust Your Camera Settings

Once everything is set, tap Go Live to start your session.

How Your Live Show Appears to Viewers

When you go live on pop.store, your live session is displayed as a mini-player on the platform. This makes it easy for potential viewers to discover your live show and engage with your content.

Public & Practice Mode Live Shows

  • Your live show will appear as a mini-player for all users.
  • When a viewer clicks on it, they’ll be taken directly into the full live session.

Subscriber-Only Live Shows

  • If your live session is set to Subscribers Only, non-subscribers can still watch the first 60 seconds as a preview.
  • After this preview, they will receive a subscribe prompt to continue watching the full session.
  • This feature allows you to tease exclusive content, encouraging more subscriptions.

Pro Tip: Promote your live show before going live to maximize engagement. Let your audience know what they’ll gain by tuning in—whether it’s exclusive product drops, discounts, or behind-the-scenes access.

This visibility ensures that both existing followers and new visitors can discover and join your live show, increasing audience reach and potential sales.

Engaging with Your Audience During a Live Show

  • Showcase your products live and explain their benefits.
  • Answer audience questions in real time to encourage purchases.
  • Use visuals and demonstrations to make the session engaging.

Pro Tip: You can schedule a live show in advance and share the link with your audience to build anticipation. This ensures more viewers join at the right time. To learn more, read Schedule a Live Show.

Managing Live Show Replays

  • Once your live show ends, it is saved under the Live Shows tab.
  • You can access previous broadcasts for promotional use or audience engagement.
