Your Custom Button is the secret weapon to making your pop.store more interactive and engaging. Whether you want to link your audience to an external website, showcase a new product, or drive traffic to a YouTube video, Custom Buttons let you do it all with style. Think of them as mini billboards that guide your visitors exactly where you want them to go—while keeping your store looking sleek and professional.
How Adding a Custom Button Benefits Your Store
- Make navigation effortless for your audience by linking them directly to important pages or resources.
- Add a creative touch to your store with fully customizable buttons that align with your branding.
- Drive engagement by linking to exclusive content like video tutorials, product launches, or promotions.
- Keep your store dynamic by using visual elements like images, videos, or animations.
Step 1: Select the Button Type
From your pop.store profile section, select +Add Link Buttons to open the customization panel. When adding a Custom Button, you can choose between Text Button, Image Button, or Video Button.
- Text Button: A clean, simple button that highlights key headings and links. Perfect for calls to action like “Read My Blog” or “Shop Now.”
- Image Button: A visually rich button that grabs attention with a background image. Great for showcasing products, events, or special promotions.
- Video Button: Take engagement to the next level by using a YouTube video as a button background. Even better? You can set the Video URL and the Clickable URL separately! For example, display a product demo video while linking to your shopping website—so visitors watch the preview but land directly on your store when they click.
Customizing Each Button Type
Text Button
When you select the Text Button:
- Enter the Heading for your button. This serves as the call-to-action text.
- Add the URL (CTA Link) where the button will direct your audience.
- Use the Text Alignment (left, center, right) and Vertical Alignment (top, middle, bottom) to position your text.
- You can restrict access to your button by choosing a subscription tier. This means only paying followers can access that link.
This is ideal for clean, minimalist designs and direct messaging.

- Button Color & Border Color (for Text Buttons): You can select a color or enter your own brand's color code to customize the background and border.
- Toggle Button Icons to add visuals on the left or right of the button. You can toggle icons on the Left, Right, or both sides of the button. When toggled, you’ll see an icon selection menu. Choose from a variety of emojis and visuals to fit your button’s theme.

Pro Tip: Use icons strategically to draw attention to your button’s purpose.
Step 3: Save and Finalize Your Button
Once all customizations are complete:
- Preview all your settings to ensure everything is correct.
- Select Save, and the Custom Button window will close.
- In your Bio section, a Save Changes button will appear in the top corner.
- Select Save Changes, and your custom button is now live on your pop.store!
- You can drag and rearrange your button to place it wherever you want—put it at the top so your followers see it first. To manage visibility, use the eye icon to hide a button or the trash icon to delete it from your store.
Note: Always select Save Changes to reflect all your changes.
